Lakeland Terriers
Lakeland Terriers are fun loving, energetic, trouble causing, problem solving, little dogs. They are eager to please you as long as this does not get in the way of what they are doing at the time.
Very striking when in full show trim they impressed me so much we went to see Philip and Barbara Greenway who kindly loaned us RAYFOS Stormbird in  1997 to see if I could cope with the hand stripping and the preparation which went into showing them. My niece handled "Chandler" and did exceptionally well in the junior handling competitions and after numerous lessons from Philip I started to enjoy success in the breed.
In 1999 we acquired » RAYFOS Star Studded (Gladys) who took numerous top honours including Best in Show at Midland Lakeland Terrier Club, sadly we had to retire her because she had an argument with the kennel front and lost her tooth.
Our stud dog » RAYFOS Dancing Brave (Walter) is a joy to live with, very loving and easy going. He enjoyed numerous wins, group placings and best puppy in shows and rcc's, not  been shown lately due to my ill health.
Their little girl NKunde Roll & Roll Star (Doris) only lightly shown will hopefully have puppies later this year.
Although Lakelands are not the breed for everyone, they give you 110% twenty four hours a day and if you can cope with the coat and have sense on humour they reward you well.
